I came here for a Sunday Roast and it was absolutely fantastic. There were two roast options and I went for the almond wellington, which not only was super tasty, but had a really nice texture as well. It came with all the trimmings (as you can see): roasties, mashed swede, spring greens, red cabbage, peas and a lovely little stuffing ball. The only thing that could make it better is if they were able to make a Yorkshire pudding to go with it. The space itself was nice and open with lots of light, and looked like it would be cool to go there in the evening. The staff was very friendly too. I’m gutted as I’m moving out of the area soon and have only just discovered it, but I’m definitely planning on going back so that I can have the other option (steak and ale pie), and one of their yummy desserts. Do yourself a favour, and treat yourself to a lunch from here!!!

Had my child's birthday party here - everyone had an amazing afternoon! We coincided it with the once-a-month children's theatre event curated by Booster Cushion Theatre, which was such a treat. Kids were so engaged. The party was food was such high quality, all vegan, included fresh fruit and veg as well as delicious pizza, vegan nuggets, chips...so good that even the adults enjoyed it! Karamel also an Indian thaali; very home-style, healthy, full of flavour. The team at Karamel are so welcoming and accommodating, they really made my child's birthday unforgettable and unique. Highly recommend this gem!

Confusing review to give! Overall; it's a great place that we're going to visit again - friendly people and a really positive space; a few food options and easy going. The vegan cheese is the goopy stinky kind and a gin being a fiver was acceptable but twelve quid for a tiny basic gin martini felt a bit mental. The house IPA at £6.50 and everything else being piddly little cans was a bit naff. The space is big and cool but also feels a bit like a community rec. I don't want to put anyone off with a review or oversell it - I would genuinely advise coming here is the best way to get a feeling for it. I've ended the night very happy and there's a certain charm to it... But it's weird. Kinda like you've gone to a small town village hall annual gathering. I can't word it right; come for a fun evening and see if it's your bag, I guess?
